A new art exhibition that brings together community voices has gone on display at Wigan Museum.
Wigan’s Voice explores the borough’s heritage, culture and changing landscape in a series of commissioned artworks from local artists.
The temporary exhibition opened on February 21 at the museum on Library Street.
It’s centred on three interconnected themes – Community Voice, Traditional Voice and Nature’s Voice – representing Wigan’s past, present and future.
The exhibition was put together by Amy Brun, a freelance curator, and includes artworks by local artists Abigail Kerner, Alex Shaw and the Chubby Northerner.
It also includes interactive displays for the community to enjoy and closes on July 25.
