Greater Manchester Police have release CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to as part of their enquiries, into a serious sexual assault in 2025.

The assault took place in Stephensons Square, Manchester City Centre just after 4am on 20 July 2025.

She was then taken to Piccadilly gardens where her bank cards and mobile phone were then stolen. The card was subsequently used, and a substantial amount of money was spent.

DC Caitlin Fallows, from GMP’s Manchester district, said: “We have undertaken extensive work already in relation to this shocking incident, and we are now able to release CCTV images and footage as we continue to investigate the full circumstances.”
