Galatasaray fans’ thoughts ahead of UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester City

Galatasaray fans from all corners of Europe have travelled to Manchester’s city centre as they prepare to take on Pep Guardiola’s Cityzens in the final UEFA Champions League group game.

Manchester City need a win at the Etihad Stadium to break in to the top 8 of the competition and avoid a potentially tricky play-off.

The Galatasaray faithful will be hoping their side can confirm a play-off spot and spoil City’s party.   

Izzy Atesh, who has travelled from London this afternoon, will have to support from the side-lines as his ticket in the home stand was revoked as a precautionary measure due to his Turkish name.

Murat Senol, 49, from Istanbul optimistically predicts a 1-0 victory for the travelling lions, while Serkan Gozmen, 42, from Zwolle believes ex-Manchester City players Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan can use their insider knowledge against the Cityzens’.
